So what are the components of these batteries that make it so much amazing as compared to the other applications in the previous area which were not of much use, the main principle of this battery is that it consists of three basic parts. First of all there are electrodes which are the reason why this battery supplies and receives current of which serves the purposes of discharging and recharging respectively, then the second part of the battery includes the electrolyte which can be any solution such as hydrochloric acid, sulphuric acid or Any other form of acid or electrolyte can be used in this, battery and the third component which is last but not the least is the separator which makes sure that the both electrodes and their solutions stay separated overtime however it does have a porous material which allows the movement of some ions to move from one compartment to the other compartment. The two electrons that are present in any battery are both solid materials and are very conductive however the purposes they serve are entirely different one of the electrodes is known as the cathode while the other is known as the anode. The cathode serves to connect through the positive side of the battery and therefore is known as the positive terminal of the battery, it is the point where the current leaves the battery or in other words electrons enter the battery, the other side of the electrode which is known as anode is in negative terminal of the battery and is in negative side of the battery from where the electrons either leave the battery or the current enters the battery. Now talking about the Electrolytes, these are liquid or gelatinous substances that are present in each compartment of the battery with the electrodes cathode and the anode and each of these compartments electrolytes has specific capabilities and characteristics, they contained charged particles and ions. They completely surround the electrode as well as the surroundings around them therefore creating a basis for the chemical reaction that will undergo if your battery wants to produce energy.
Alkaline Battery vs. Nickel Metal Hydride Battery
Rechargeable alkaline batteries as compared to the nickel metal hydride batteries are very different and have an entirely different composition and chemical chemistry. Batteries are can much more resilient as compared to the nickel metal hydride batteries or the nickel metal cadmium battery. the reason for this is because their rechargeable alkaline batteries when they are manufactured and are sent out into the market they are fully charged and the main reason people like to have these sort of batteries is because they have the ability to store their charge and hold their charge for L much more longer duration such as four years or five years, therefore this means a longer life span of three to four years as compared to the nickel cadmium batteries and the nickel metal had right batteries which on occasion just deplete themselves by self-discharging current on their own which is why people do not like to have these sorts of batteries. the other great thing about these batteries is that they are rechargeable meaning that they have a high recharging efficiency thus they can be used again and again regardless of how many times you recharge them, this is something that cannot be done with the nickel cadmium and the nickel metal hydride batteries because they have a less recharging efficiency and they have a less environmental impact as disposable cells as compared to the nickel cadmium batteries which unlike the alkaline batteries have a much more environmental impact, which can also lead to several other hazardous problems to the ecosystem.

That is known as cycles so alkaline batteries are much more resilient as you all know and have read it or in the above part that alkaline batteries are much more resilient as compared to the nickel metal hydride batteries therefore alkaline batteries for offer a much more larger number of cycles that you can recharge them and discharge them however in the case of nickel metal hydride batteries this is not the case and you will have to compromise on their aspect.
