Step 1: Preparing the Battery
First, take your sealed acid battery, and there you will see a flat cover. Just remove that and now measure the volt of the battery using a voltmeter.
Step 2: Fill the Battery with Water
Now, in this step, you will need to fill the battery with DIstilled water to activate the acid again. To do so: Refill the battery holes using a syringe till the water comes out of all the holes.
Step 3: Mix Water With Acid and Charging
Now fill the battery with water, and we must ensure that it is mixed with dried acid inside the battery in order to reawaken it. To begin, you must provide a 12 Volt DC supply to charge the battery.
Notes:
●If no bubbles emerge from any of the holes, you must reverse the negative and positive and wait 13 minutes. At Maximum (this is a dangerous step; do not leave the battery in this state alone)
●If you see bubbles coming out of holes too quickly, as if they are boiling, turn off the power immediately and reconnect the negative and positive wires.
Step 4: Clean the Battery
Finally, use the syringe to remove the wastewater from the top of the holes and charge the battery. Please don't cover the holes until it charges to 6.9V; check it every 1 hour after that, then dry it off with a tissue and cover everything.
Congratulations, your battery is now operational!
