It mainly tests the safety performance of the battery when it is damaged by the outside world. It can conduct electrical test and mechanical test on the battery. Electrical test includes short circuit (room temperature, high temperature short circuit), overcharge, forced discharge test. Mechanical tests include extrusion, acupuncture, impact of heavy objects, impact, vibration, free fall and other tests. It is equipped with high-temperature short-circuit test box, battery hot-shock test box, battery incinerator, heavy impact device, extrusion test machine, acupuncture test machine, drop test machine and other experimental equipment. Some experimental equipment is as follows:

1> high temperature short circuit test box:

Simulate the high temperature environment, test the safety performance of the battery when the high temperature short circuit, with automatic insulation function, also can be used for room temperature short circuit, thermal shock test.

2> battery thermal shock test box:

Simulation of rapid external heating environment, with the function of programmed heating, easy to operate, at a certain rate of heating in the specified time to reach the test temperature, and maintain a certain time. Hot air circulation system is adopted to ensure uniform distribution of working temperature. It has the function of overtemperature protection and regular shutdown.

3> battery incinerator:

Used for testing the safety performance of battery when exposed to external fire source. Automatic ignition, automatic control of the test process
