As technology is advancing in the new world there are newer things being invented by the second and this has led to the continuous advancement into the new era where things are much more convenient for people to use. The reason why this advancement is necessary is because with coming times the problems also become much more complex and therefore the solutions that are required to solve those complex problems are even more complicated. Therefore to solve your problems this advancement is necessary, solar panels are one solution too your problem of finding a renewable source of energy. If you were relying on fossil fuels for your source of energy or natural gas then you will most likely run out of energy producing ways. Therefore the best case scenario for you is that you shift to a renewable source of energy.

Renewable Source of Energy

So the best Renewable source of energy is solar energy. Solar energy is a concept that was first introduced in the late 1990s. Solar panels since then have been of much use because they have the ability to convert the solar light that means the light from the sun into electrical energy that can then be stored into batteries and then be used to power appliances such as fridge, fans, lights etc. Solar energy when captured by the panel is converted to electrical energy and then stored into the battery by charging the battery that can then later on be used. However if you directly connect a solar panel to a battery the charges that are stored in the battery can be imbalanced. For example if there is no controller the solar panels may overcharge the battery and you might not even know about it, they may overcharge the battery so much that the battery even may explode.

To stop that from happening and that to make sure that the battery is charged to its full capacity and no further, we attach something known as a charge controller. A charge controller is something that can safely control the charges that are being stored in the battery so that it does not overcharge it, this is important for you economically because if your battery is over charged it reduces the life span of the battery by a great deal and if your battery life span is decreased by a great deal then you will have to replace it which is quite expensive, therefore to stop this thing from happening the first thing that you must do when you get a solar panel is that you also get a charge controller so that you can protect your battery from getting over charged or from being undercharged. both of these case scenarios can be something that can harm your health of battery, if it is over charged then the electrodes in the battery might even explode leaving your battery useless, if it is undercharged then your appliances won't work or the battery will get depleted very soon that too will create inconvenience for you.

Types of Batteries

There are several types of batteries that are present out there in the market all of those batteries need a specific charge controller to make sure that the battery pack is not over charged, these types of batteries are lithium ion, lithium iron phosphate, nickel metal hydride, nickel cadmium etc. All of these batteries can be charged easily and safely with the help of a charge controller; however lead acid batteries are a special type of exception. The reason being that lead acid batteries have to be charged quickly and so for those types of batteries a large solar panel will have to be connected to a specific charge controller so that it can quickly charge the lead acid batteries otherwise these are the types of batteries that will lose their potential and life span much quicker than others. Unlike other types of batteries lead acid battery that I’m a battery if over charged or undercharged can cause the electrolyte to dry in the battery therefore rendering the battery useless.

Solar Battery Charge Controller Circuit Diagram

A solar battery charge controller is connected in a series of various connections that Help perform the duty in a proper manner. The solar panel receives the light from the sun and therefore converts the sunlight into electrical energy this electrical energy is then inserted into a MPPT charge controller. This charge controller then causes the battery to charge safely without overcharging or under charging the battery and making sure that it is just at the right point, at the optimum charge level. Then from the battery the electricity then goes to the inverter which is supposedly to convert the DC load into AC current, because the solar energy that was captured from the sun and then converted to electrical energy is in the form of a DC load or DC current. The DC load or DC current then goes to the inverter Ann from the inverter it is supplied to the house where multiple appliances such as light bulbs, television, fridge, and other things are also run.

Solar Charge Controller Prices

Solar charge controllers vary from different prices to different qualities. If you want to make sure that you get the best product that is available in the market then you will have to get a expensive charge controller that will cost you about 4500 rupees. However if you want to get something mid range you can find it in the price ranges of Rs.2500 to Rs.2800. So if you are looking for something even cheaper than you can get a solar charge controller in 900 or 1200 rupees.

Solar Battery Charge Controller Manufactures

There are many manufacturers all over the world that provide solar charge controllers. The most famous brands include advance electronics, Accura automation engineers, ACE, AERL and so many more. All of these are the types of companies that are making sure that they can provide the best solar Chargers for their customers all over the world.
