Manufacturers these days are trying their best to create a battery that never dies. For instance, Ohm Laboratories in Silicon Valley developed a new car battery and named it “Ohm battery”. The battery comes with unique features thereby showing methods to ensure smooth operations. 

Its integrated processor provides ways to monitor power levels and cuts power automatically if the temperature of a battery goes down. Besides this, the battery stores energy and supports a battery management system to avoid threats.   

The battery will shut down before going dead and allows people to start a car within a few minutes. Furthermore, it has a warning system that provides ways to know when a car battery requires replacement due to repairs and other issues. 

Ohm’s battery is a lithium-ion battery that is built with super capacitors which deliver electricity quickly when starting a car vehicle. Moreover, it has more lifespan than a lead acid battery. The battery also performs well in cold weather to avoid freezing and other issues that can affect its durability. At the same time, it requires some improvement in its design as the battery has only a10 Ah reserve capacity. 

GE, a leading company, is working on the immortal battery with researchers from premier universities. It says that new durable batteries are suitable for cars and other applications that help get the desired outcomes. They will last forever which allows a car owner to prevent a battery from further complications. However, it may take some time to see them in the market.
