Battery chargers are very important to charge electric batteries. But using the electric chargers is a tricky thing and you need to know the right way to use of battery charger. 

How to charge: To start the process, you need to plug in your charger to a good electrical outlet.

Charger Instructions 

You need to keep in mind a few points as the instructions come with the charger.

Never use or recharge your battery packs, if the charger is hot or warm.

Let it cool before putting it into charge 

Recharging a hot charger can harm the battery 

Never use the new pack if it comes as leaking or damaged

When you are not using the charger, unplug it from the electrical output 

Don’t keep the battery pack outside the battery compartment

Be careful about explosion and leakage.

Don’t try to disassemble it  

Follow the instruction or it may come with the book 

Ways to Avoid Damage 

To avoid damage to your charger or battery, do not overcharge it. As the signal turns green, remove battery from the charger. Keep both in proper place. 

Also, check the wires and make sure they are properly connected and intact as they are connected at the proper place 

You will find an instruction diagram, if you are not sure about the right look of the connection, check it first. If you have connected the charger to wrong place, it can be an issue of charging issue.  Check if the charger is getting the proper power supply from electric connection. The charger should be the right one as per the model number. 

Voltage fluctuation or improper voltage can be a reason that the charger is not working. Check the voltage output also. 

Bad wiring or if the wires are not in right place, your charger will not work.

New Bright Battery Charger not Working

There are three different reasons that the charger is not working. The first reason can be the poor input source of the charger. It can stop the charging capacity. Your charger will not work if the one is in the protection mode. The battery temperature can be outside the normal charging range. Another reason can be the expiration of the safety timer. Your bright battery charger may not work in these situations. 

The charger will stop working because of proper discrepancies within different circuits. Instead of buying a new battery charger, you should start with proper maintenance. 

How do you charge a new bright battery?

Charging the new battery is not easier, you need to know the right way so that you can increase the life of the charger. 

You need to start by plug-in your charger into the electrical outlet of your home.

You will find the charging cradle where you need to insert securely your 12.8V battery pack that is rechargeable. Make sure that all the arrows are matched correctly 

In the same, you need to insert your 9.6V rechargeable pack of the battery into your charger and then push it up to its lock. 

Your power unit should be oriented properly. It should be in a wall mount or vertical position.

You need to allow the battery for full charge it should take 1 to 1.5 hours. When you are charging, the status of your charging light should be red. The light will change and will blink green as the charge is complete. 

As the green light is blinking, you need to remove the battery. There is a release button that you need to press and also hold. Then slide down the battery to unlock it. 

As the light is off, you need to unplug all the things and place securely everything in the right place. 

Secure first the battery. Align properly the arrows and your battery pack. Keep it inside the battery compartment. 

Slide down the battery in the right direction at the pointed arrows. After putting it in, you need to lock this tab properly to its battery pack. The battery should stay safe. 

Now turn on your car to check if the battery is working and fully charged. 

Now it is important to know how much time it takes to get fully charged:

It takes nearly one hour to get a full charge but the time may differ according to the quality of the charger and battery. It can be 15 to 20 minutes also. You can check whether the battery is properly maintained so that the battery will charge faster. 

To sustain the life of your battery, you need to cool down the battery first after using the charger. The battery becomes too hot or warm after using the charger. So first give it time to cool down before using it. If you use it when it is warm, you will harm the battery life. The battery and battery charger should be checked regularly. By doing this, you can find out if any part of the battery is damaged. If you know the damaged part, it will be easier for you to service it before. 

If you use the battery continuously and charge use with the damaged part, it can shorten the life of the battery and the charger. 

If you take care of the battery and charger, then the charging time will be short. 

The way to replace the battery is easier. Just take the battery out, check the instruction, and slide your new battery. You will get instruction from the expert or the written instruction will come with the battery charger pack.

Replacing the battery is not much tough if you follow the right instructions. You just need to slide the battery into its compartment and lock it securely. But proper maintenance is the best way to increase the battery life and the condition of the charge. If you fail to do so, you will never get long-lasting service from it.
