New Cell Phone Battery Not Charging

Believe it or not, there are lots of external factors that can cause new cell phone battery not charging, such as:

1. Check the cable.

Many things might cause a phone to stop charging, but the cable is one of the first things to check. Especially if you've had the thing for a long period, perhaps since you bought it. Our cables are subjected to a lot of wear and tear. They accompany you to other sites, and we constantly trip over them, twist them, and carelessly stuff them into bags, among other things.

Examine it thoroughly. On your charging cable, look for evidence of wear and pressure. The wires will not function properly if they are yanked, twisted, cut, or otherwise damaged. Also, try charging another gadget with it to see if it works. If that's the case, it's possible that the issue is with the device. To see if it works, try charging your smartphone battery using a different cord.

2. Check the charging port.

It's time to take a look at your phone's cable and charger to see whether they'll work with other devices. The charging port is a common culprit. First and foremost, look for any dirt or debris in the port. Even something as basic as a clogged port might wreak havoc on your charge. You can clean it with a brush or compressed air.

Have you noticed how slow the port has become recently? Excessive port utilization may cause them to fail. Corrosion indicators may also be visible. Unfortunately, your alternatives are limited to either repairing the phone or attempting to replace the port.

3. Check the adapter.

Of course, the wall charger is just as important as the cord. Allow yourself the opportunity to put it to the test. Look it over for any obvious problems. Cracks and twisted outlets are telltale signs that something is wrong. To see if this is the problem, try it with other devices and replace it with a different brick.

4. Use another power source.

Check to check whether you can charge your phone while using another device that is plugged into the same outlet. Occasionally, plugs fail, or a part of your home may have an electrical problem. In addition, some power sources may be insufficient. Switch to another outlet in the house if yours isn't working.

Those trying to charge their smartphones via a USB port on a computer or a power strip may not be getting enough juice. To test whether your charging troubles go away, try switching to a regular outlet.

5. Restart the phone.

This is a go-to solution for all things technological, and it usually works. A simple restart will sometimes reset all of your phone's gears and get it back up and running. Turning your phone off fully may also aid in the charging of your phone's battery. Charging performance may be hampered by heavy use or background tasks. When you turn your phone off, all of your device's resources are freed up, allowing it to focus just on charging.

6. Battery Depletion

Your phone requires at least a little amount of energy to function effectively. Devices really turn off a little before the battery dies so that they can handle things when you turn them on again, or even when they're turned off and charging. When your batteries are completely exhausted, you'll have a lot of problems. People in this circumstance are the lucky of all because they don't have to cope with a serious problem.

To notice benefits, you'll need to be patient and leave the phone plugged in for longer periods of time. The phone will soon wake up and resume charging. By pressing and holding the power button for 30 seconds, you can do a soft reset.

7. Software Update

Checking for software upgrades could be a quick fix. Of course, this requires that you have adequate power to finish the upgrade. Follow the instructions under Settings > System > System Update > Check for Update. If an update is available, install it by following the on-screen instructions.

New Cell Phone Battery Drains Fast

There can be several reasons why our battery is draining fast. They are:

1. The screen is too bright.

Although having your brightness set to maximum may appear to be more convenient, especially when you're outside, it has a substantial impact on your battery. Furthermore, using light mode while the brightness on your phone is set to maximum depletes your battery even more. Keep your screen brightness as low as possible to obtain that extra bit of battery life.

What else can you do besides decreasing the brightness of your screen? One alternative is to utilize dark mode on your phone and in your favorite apps. The white menu and app backgrounds will be replaced with black. Your phone's screen will not be substantially dimmed. You'd be surprised at how much energy is saved while the lights are kept on.

2. Picture on Background Mode

Picture-in-picture mode may be familiar to you if you've used YouTube Premium, Twitch, or another similar app on your phone. While using other apps on your screen, you can watch any movie or stream in a small viewing box. While this is useful, using numerous apps at the same time will deplete the battery on your phone.

3. Always Connected to the Internet

It may seem self-evident to have your Wi-Fi or data turned on the entire day to stay connected at all hours of the day and night. Because you're getting notifications, background updates, and other things when you don't need them, your phone's battery may be badly depleted.
