The acid battery usually lasts for 3 to four years, if the battery is too much old, it may bloat, the acid may leak, cracks occur etc. On the battery terminal, extensive corrosion can damage and reduces electrical connectivity and charging ability of it. Sulfation can cause battery damage also because it damages the battery cell. Sulfation is common in lead batteries.

Power draining of the battery can be a reason. Some car accessories like Bluetooth kits and interior lighting may shut down if the engine of the car is off. It can drain out the battery also. For some components, a live connection is important.

My Battery Won't Charge on My Laptop
There can be some issues like software malfunction, power cord issue or bad battery health. If your battery doesn’t charge on your laptop find out the issue first with the help of an expert. Check if the USB is in the right condition.
You can use a standard charger if you are looking for a proper charger. But if you want to charge with a USB port, it can cause issues.
Check if the charging indicator is not on and no indicator is showing in the display that the USB cable is connected or not. In that case, you need to re-insert the USB or data cable first. You can replace the one with a new one.
If the phone battery is connected to the laptop, you need to connect the USB port to another USB port and if it is working there.
If the phone is connected to the laptop, you need to use the USB port of your laptop for charging. Don’t use the USB extension cable. It may lack the proper power supply from the USB port.
Check whether the data cable is right for your phone or it supports the laptop. Some phone requires a specific app to be downloaded before charging. In that case, you need to download the app first before putting your phone for charging.

First, you need to check the charging cable properly and thoroughly. Check if there is any sign of damage. Any type of cut bends, usual damage can be the reason that the cable is not functioning properly and so the phone is not charging. You can try and check if another device is properly working with the cable, you can also use another USB cable to check if the phone is charging. The adapter or the wall charger is an equally important place to check. Bent outlets and cracks can be a big reason. You can try to change the cable and can use a different device to know if it is working.
If the charging port is damaged or if there is an electric issue, your phone will not take charging. If there is any debris or clouds of dust try to clean it properly. Buy the right charger and adapter that match your device properly.
