Re-wrapping a cell is ideal and simple. Battery wraps are affordable and can be bought from amazon, e-bay, vape shops that sell 18650 batteries. There are also youtube tutorials available on re-wrapping cells. You will need battery wraps, hairdryers, and scissors for trimming if needed. Here is a simple procedure.

?Cut the wrap using scissors, use a ruler to measure required measurements, and be cautious not to damage the wrap.

?Remove old wrap, cut down the negative terminal to avoid short.

?Rewrap and align slowly, apply heat using hair dryer from top to bottom then rotate the cell, do it for few seconds to avoid melting the wrap.

Use Tapes

Besides wraps, tapes can work for a while till you get wraps. It will be fine if the tape fits in the mod. Tight mod and batteries will require thinner tape to be helpful. Cello tapes are thin and do not change the battery's DIA.  Devices vary, some have tight battery tolerance hence the electrical tape will not fit. The cells should away from each other to avoid close contact since they are loaded in a sled. You can use the lubricant on the charger's slide and be extra careful while removing and inserting cells. Cut shrink tubing to correct dimensions that will fit the battery. Place the image in tubing and slide battery inside. The image should be straight and perfectly arranged to your preference.
